I'm a photographer, mostly art and documentary!
I studied photography for a while in the late 90's and learned a lot about the technical side. Having worked as a life model since October 1991, this has helped me see the art in photography. I've gradually learned what interests me as subject matter. Sometimes this means working on long tern projects and ideas, other times it means single images that gradually come together as a theme.
Due to my work as a life model the human figure in all art is important to me. I use my own body in photographs, sometimes as straight forward art work, but also in very personal images that convey feelings i may have, or have had in the past. In these cases the nude figure often represents vulnerability, and perhaps the helplessness we can fell at times in our lives.
